Dr. Samantha Sapi, BAS ND -

Naturopathic Doctor

Samantha works with many patients and has experience and additional education in Women’s Health, Digestive Health, and Pediatrics.

Samantha loves science, and she also loves art. This lead to Samantha selecting an undergraduate degree in a Bachelor of Arts and Science (Sociology and Biology) at the University of New Brunswick. She used this program to educate herself on the societal and biological aspects of health in preparation for the Doctor of Naturopathy program at the highly renowned Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Samantha still uses the knowledge she gained through her undergraduate degree to educate patients on the societal causes and obstacles in healthcare, and how our biology plays a big role in how we respond to our environment. The beautiful thing about Naturopathic medicine is that it also perfectly encompasses the meeting of arts and science. While there are many scientific resources and studies that Samantha uses to make clinical decisions, she also uses her creativity to create the most individualized and specific protocol for her patients. There is no one size fits all here, because you are unique.

Once Samantha completed the Doctor of Naturopathy program in 2019, she became a member of the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta as well as the Nova Scotia Association of Naturopathic Doctors. She opened her practice in Halifax, Nova Scotia where she saw patients for digestive, hormonal, and pain related concerns. This past year Dr. Samantha moved to Fergus to be close to her family and establish herself in a community she has always deeply loved. Here, she works closely with her patients to support them with their health concerns. Dr. Samantha loves to get to know her patients and what works for them in their busy lives, allowing her to easily integrate realistic and accessible treatments into their daily activities. Her goal is to work with you to achieve your goals.

Samantha is also a big believer in the importance of education for herself and for her patients. She strives to continuously learn as much as she can to support her patients to the best of her ability. She has kept herself busy over the last few years, always working to expand her skill set in a variety of ways:

  • completed an externship focused on chronic infections and chronic pain with the renowned East Coast Naturopathic Clinic.

  • continued working closely with the East Coast Naturopathic Clinic team and participating in their many continuing education courses focused on emergency medicine, sports medicine and innovative therapies.

  • was a guest ND at Juniper Naturopathic in Fort McMurray where she provided focused care to those with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (AKA PCOS). Samantha used her “PCOS Program” that she developed to help patients bounce back from PCOS flare ups during the pandemic.

  • regularly organizes and hosts public "webinars" with NDs across Canada to discuss easy ways to implement healthy changes in a relaxed and fun way.

  • hosts corporate wellness events for companies in the GTA - supporting employers and their employee's health and well being.

  • maintains a membership to multiple Women’s Health mentorship programs designed to keep clinicians up to date on new research in hormonal wellness

  • since 2017 Samantha has attended the annual AANP conference to keep up to date with the newest therapies being utilized in North America.
